ROD LATHIM

Photographing theatre productions and the rehearsal process has been a passion of mine for over 25 years. During the 18 years of serving as Artistic Director of Access Theatre, I photographed our productions for press and archival purposes. My experience as an actor and director over the span of my adult life gives me a unique "eye" for shooting theatre. I most enjoy being able to be close and whenever possible, right onstage with actors to capture the peak moments of emotion, contemplation, conflict and exhilaration. 

 

My theatrical photographs have been published in the Santa Barbara News Press (prior to 2006), the Santa Barbara Independent, Montecito Journal, Santa Barbara Family Life Magazine, The Ventura County Star, The Los Angeles Times, Variety, Broadway.com, Backstage West, among others.
